Every Optivane app has a single, clear purpose. No feature sprawl, no dashboards you never asked for — just the tool you came for, working the first time.

We build for the platform, not against it. Our apps feel at home on your device: quick to open, light on battery, and designed to platform conventions.
Private by default
Your data is yours. We collect the minimum needed for an app to function, keep processing on-device wherever possible, and never sell personal information.

Where we come from.
Optivane started with data — years of working with it, cleaning it, modelling it, and occasionally arguing with it. That work teaches something specific: software rarely fails because the idea was wrong. It fails in the unglamorous places. The import that breaks on the one edge case nobody tested. The screen that takes four seconds to load. The setting that quietly doesn't stick.
When the current wave of AI tools arrived, getting deep into it was less a strategy than an inevitability — it is the most interesting thing to happen to this craft in a long time. The time since has mostly been spent working out where the technology genuinely earns its place in a product, and where it is decoration.
An instrument that guesses isn't an instrument. We'd rather ship a smaller thing that is right.
That is where the name comes from. A vane is the simple instrument that reads real conditions and points the right way — no interpretation, no opinion, just an honest reading. It is the job we want our software to do: measure what matters, then point you forward.
Optivane is where that turns into shipped software — beginning with a short list of apps we wanted to exist and couldn't find. We are still learning, deliberately and continuously, and we think that is the correct permanent condition for anyone building tools people rely on.
